Who's the best American born player...

Somebody asked me this question a couple of years ago and I think it is still a very interesting question.

Who's the best American born player in the NBA that is White?

By "White" I mean no African American bloodlines.

2 years ago when I was asked this question, Nash first came to mind. But of course, he is Canadian.

Is there a clear cut winner or answer to this question? When you start thinking about it, the list is pretty bad IMO.

He's only started 4 games this year. Averages 7 points and 3 rebounds a game. Impressive....

For sure. But that list would be much easier to come up with obviously. Just wanted to get people to dig deep and think a little.
