"Really?? I see 50% at covers"

I see 60/40...but that still doesn't scream to me that the public is all over the over.

I'm a little baffled by your comment and the one by Mobdeeper.

What is it that makes you think "the Phils bats might be on to something". They have not scored more than 3 runs in 10 games. In addition, their batting average is .192 versus righties and .229 versus lefties over the last 10. That doesn't sound like showing signs of life (especially with a lineup as potent as there's....sounds to me like they're in a funk).

Mobdeeper...I am seeing 60% on the "over" and 40% on the "under". Is that really cause to say "the public is all over the over".

Just looking at facts guys (not being critical). Would love to hear the insights if I am missing something.

Of course now that's I've said this, watch the Phils score 12 today and crush the Braves.

Everybody knows how bad the Phils bats are right now. It's legendary. By no means am I saying that they are hitting well. I'm saying that they are showing signs of life that they might be ready to jump out of the gutter.

Right. Compared to 8 runs in their previous 10 games (or whatever it was), that's a hell of a move in the right direction.

Sorry Grind-It_Out, I just don't see that as much of a trend. You may win the over wager, but I'm just looking for something a little more substantial than what you're providing. I think NYMets made some astute comments regarding what Manuel is trying with his lineup (almost seems like desperation because no one is hitting)

As I said earlier, I have no money on this game. I'm staying away. The OVER is just my lean. I don't see enough evidence pointing in any direction, so hence no play for me.
