It's hard to say, since we have no idea how good McGee could be. I believe that he could be a better QB than Juice, if the coaches showed him the same loyalty that they show Juice. Juice was the first 5 star recruit for Zook, and I think when he committed, Zook was able to lure other recruits because of him. So I think Zook feels he owes it to Juice to tell him that he is the QB and is not coming out. I will say this.....Juice has ZERO chance of ever making an NFL roster as a QB, and the latest I heard is that he was thinking about leaving early. He needs to get real. People think he's good because he has thrown for so many yards. But he's not good. Just average and way below average in terms of accuracy at this point in his career. He's a late season junior, not a freshman.
Mendenhall's brother transferred to ISU. Dufrenne is okay, but nothing like Mendenhall obviously. Freshman Jason Ford looked awesome against Indiana, and I think he's going to have a good career.
Iowa should have a good gameplan and I'm not confident in this game. Ferentz owns the Illini. Juice is going to have to throw well to win this game, and that's not something I would put money on.
