Kobe, Kidd is a 50/50 prop on layups..Cassell, Francis, & Parker, are just as good as Kidd.
Kobe could do what all of those guys do, but as a better wing/slasher/dribble-penetrator is better off waiting for pass off the set plays.. also LA needs the worn-out Glove to earn his keep someway, thus dribble it past midcourt before disappearing.

I think the big thing is Kobe has yet to prove himself on a team without a dominant center like Shaq and what has been a nice supporting case year in and year out. Players like Kidd, McGRady, and Iverson have. Kobe has already proven lately that he struggles when double teamed, but guys above like McGrady & Iverson get double teamed night in and night out but still dominate. I believe as of now I would have to say Kidd.Jason Kidd makes all of his teammates better, when in Kobe's case all that we can estimate for now, its that his teammates have made him better.......
