As stupid as this idea was(having the final table in November), I think I figured out why they did it...and guess what it comes down to--MONEY!!!!

November in Vegas is dead-and I mean D-E-A-D! Occupancy rates have to be through the floor, so it's only logical for the corporate pigs to move it to November to fill some rooms.

Don't be surprised if the whole thing is moved to November in the future.

Has anyone involved with the WS talked about preventing side deals from taking place? It seems the delay is just begging for someone(s) to attempt a fix.

Side deals can always be made whether it's the regular WSOP or a delayed one.

Ya, sorry - I should've used better wording - I meant essentially players losing pots intentionally to eachother for financial gain. I realize this is still quite possible without the delay, but it seems the longer the delay, the more intricate the planning could be.
