And coach k also has said kobe bryant is the best player he has ever seen....
How can someone say jordan would not let them lose? Lol... These arent players from a watered down 90's era that saw 6 expansion teams come in the league mike was a great player but kobe cancels him out their even in this matchup like i said the wildcard is rondo if he can hit a shot...
Dont want to make it into a mike debate but cmon he wouldnt lose those statements are a joke mike left the bulls was replaced by pete myers and only dropped off 2 games without the "great god mike" and got robbed vs the knicks in the playoffs to go to the ecf finals... The media will have you believe that mike carried pipp but that was bs...
I'd never call MJ overrated cause that would be absurd, I do think he is the best player I've ever seen personally. However, you are pretty much spot on that he has kinda been given this mythical aura to him since he retired. People act like he could never lose ever. As great as he was, obviously stars aligned pretty nicely for him to be on the best team in a watered down era (like you said)
MJ, Pippen, Rodman on 1 team in a 30 team league? That was insanely stacked.
My question to the OP is, why these 10 players in 5 on 5? Its not like you are asking best now vs best then really, the selections just seem random to me.
