Who will take the bullet for Junior? Condi? Neocon, chickenhawk and draftdodger supreme Bobby Wolfowitz? Prick Armitage, who covered up the POW issue in Nam? He would jump on a grenade for Junior. Who do you think will take the heat and resign? Who will Junior and his gang of neocon, draftdodger chickenhawks single out?

No one.

Rice's testimony according to polls is more credible in the eyes of the American public than Clark's. Clark is already gone.

So no one still working for the president has to take any bullet for the actions of this administration. Some Clinton people may have to, regarding their actions (or inaction, really), but as that administration is already out of power, big deal.

Also are the polls that show Bush having a 55% favourable showing on how he's handled terrorism thus far.

I'm sure that junior and his gang of chickenhawks will let Condi twist in the wind on this one, at least until November

Bush's bigger problem is the ongoing mess in Iraq. Now Bremer is reiterating that the occupation will end and turnover happen by June 30. What then? It will be an utter mess. Hpw many years will we have 100K+ troops there? Are they ever coming home? We essentially already had a draft with troops who were promised to come home sooner being fored to stay there. It's an outrage. And for what? For all the eyars that the chickenhawks were planing this thing you'd think they would have had a better (or some!) plan for postwar Iraq. But they got such a hardon from dropping the big bombs that they ignored what happens afterward.

The President was aleep on 9/11 but his failure in Iraq wil overshadow it (and maybe that was his intention?).

Twister dan,

Condi absolutely blew the partisan demis on the commission out of the water! If there was ever an appropriate definition of "getting schooled" this was it. You guys should have watched it.

The anguish and deep hurt that about every American citizen has to deal with, is the blow to shoulder we took on 9/11. Coming voting time, all Clinton voters in the past will dig deep into their conscious and will have a hard time puching the chad for Kerry. The WMD BS is nothing more than and unclear and unresolved issue for you democrats to use to shift the focus on Bush and Iraq.

Ultimately the blame, or the scapegoat on 9/11 will be a result of those votes in November and Clinton and his supporters will be the unseen cancer that let it happen. Americans realized they made a mistake with Clinton. Bush wins easily just because of Clinton. Americans who once thought they were democrats, vote Bush now and republican down the line throughout the next generation.

I know how you Repugs like to blame everything in perpetuity on Clinton, but I find it mindblowing how you guys can blame him for a massive attack on Bush's watch. Quite possibly a massive attack didn't happen on US soil during Clinton's watch because he was so focused on it. We are slowly learning about a major millenium attack that was foiled because Clinton brought everyone together and made it priority #1 to thwart it. Terrorism was a prority in Clinton's Admin and it wasn't in Bush's, period. He was too busy salivating from Day 1 over how to get into Iraq.

And before you say, well Clinton did nothing in response etc etc, you just don't know all that was done, mostly behind the scenes. Doing something doesn't have to involve lobbing bomb and bomb into the mountains of Afghanistan. Fighting terrorism is a very different war that happens mostly behind the scenes with law enforcement, not with military dropping big bombs. W still doesn't get this.

lander,

I had two roomates in college who chose the poly sci degree. They'll be the first to tell you that the only thing you learn in those classes is that bullshit can go a long ways sometimes. They also convince me that most politians are born, not made.

D2bets,

Was that the same millenium where clocks were supposed get turned back, toasters were suppose to explode, the keys to unlock doors would suddenly not work? Yeh, clinton had a lot of stupid folks scared. He saved the toasters but he let down America.
