Remember that Henne has another year left at UM and Michigan has turned into quarterback U the last decade. Pretty sure their last 6 QB'S or so are all in the NFL.

Henne's inability to avoid rushers has me concerned although given time he is very accurate. I would lean to Henne simply because the likes of Smith haven't faired to well in the NFL. Also, isn't Smith kind of undersized for a QB?

Troy Smith has little chance of being a regular starter in the NFL. He reminds me of a few NFL backups, sort of a Rodney Peete or Marques Tuiasosopo at best.

Henne might be a starter if he develops more, he has the size and arm for it, but certainly doesn't look like anything special. He doesn't look anything like the couple of high pick QBs who are coming out this year.

I gave up long ago trying to predict how good UM Qb's would do in the pros. Brady imo was about the 6th best qb to play at UM in the last 25 years

No kidding, I never thought he or Elvis Grbac would ever be starters in the NFL. UM players at QB never really look that good, the system just doesn't lend itself to a pro-style game one would think.

The biggest knock on Smith is his height. I'm not sure he'll ever get a true shot to start in the NFL because of it.

Smith has the arm but height could be the problem, he has a strong enough arm for sure and is accurate, he's much more accurate than a Vince Young.

I actually thought Todd Collins would be a good pro, my NFL scouting career went to the shitter after that prediction
