Bonds is the best player that I've ever seen - can't even think of anyone that's even close

Although many will remember it differently, 90s bonds was overall better player than 90s Griffey, but it was close. Given everything that's happened unfortunately people don't remember how good bonds was before peds.

Obviously on the sauce Bonds is like the best ever. Pre-sauce I'd still take Bonds. Griffey better power hitter but Bonds OBP was consistently .20-.50 higher than his looking at the #s. During that time period that wasn't as valued so Griffey was known as the best player until the roiding started but looking back I'd say Bonds was more valuable.

Only thing Griff ever had on Bonds was a stronger throwing arm. Everything else bonds was better

Wasn't all that til he juiced.

Before Bonds ever used any steroids he won three MVPs, was the best player in the league a fourth year (1991) when the voters were complete idiots, and twice he was one of the best clean players in the league while a drug user won the award (96 and 98)

Bonds unquestionably had a better career than Griffey. Bonds WAR through 1998: 99.6. Griffey WAR through his entire career: 83.6

And just because Bonds was on drugs from 1999 on doesn't mean those hits, walks, and home runs didn't happen and that they didn't help the Giants

This is a tough call,it really is.

I`m taking Bond`s bullshit PED`s into consideration.

Junior was a heck of a player and football player to boot.

Every time I look at Bond`s 2001 stat of 73 HR`s :youmad:.......I say what a fucking cheater.......Nobody can hit 73 HR`s on natural talent alone....No way.

I`ll be the only 1 who votes for Junior.

Bonds played better D and ran better on the base paths?

Definally run better on the bases.

Better D Griff gets the slight nod when healthy partly due to the stronger throwing arm but not by much.

Both won gold gloves. Not much separation either way but bonds was the superior base runner And not even close.

Bonds was better in the field than Griffey? Wow. Griffey is perhaps the finest defensive outfield in the history of the game. Take into consideration all the ground he covered and balls he ran down that Bonds would never have gotten to. Griffey played the far superior position. Tracked balls down because of his speed. No way.

Superior base runner? Ok Chop.

Why shouldn't Barry Bonds' records be taken away, like Lance Armstrong's were? I mean Lance juiced in an era when everyone else was?

Give the home run record back to it's rightful owner: Hank Aaron.

Give Roger Maris back his record too.
