Who the hell would bet the Yanks at -340 tomorrow?

-340? Really?

I doubt the Nats win the game, but at -340, why would anyone lay that juice on a baseball game.

Tampa was in the -220 to -250 range in the last series. What warrants the Yankees to be an extra -100 in juice?

Martis can't get lefties out.

LH Hitters vs Martis: .326 BA/.407 OBP/.549 SLG (144 ABs)
RH Hitters vs Martis: .154 BA/.218 OBP/.291 SLG (117 ABs)

Nationals offense is ice cold and they will likely roll over for Sabathia.

Manny Acta was supposed to get fired on Monday and it didn't happen. The front office didn't release a statement supporting him either so these last 3 games in NY will likely be his last as manager of the team. They will fire him after the game on Thursday before the homestand.

I don't understand why this team wouldn't just fire Manny now. It makes their organization look like a bunch of jackasses by keeping him around coaching as a lame duck. Just fire him or support him, don't just leave him hanging there while reports are running around and the home newspaper is writing articles like it is already a fore gone conclusion that he is done here in DC.

baseball bets

I like to follow the old rule..never give more than 190 on a baseball game.

I parlayed the Yanks with other teams in a bunch of two team parlays. They pay about even money. Sure it could lose, but it is as close to a lock as you can get. Notice I did not say it was a lock.....not jinxing the pick.

Lets not forget that the Nats can hit the long ball too and this might be a good park for them to get the bats going. I like the +2.5 here my self.

Value is with the Yanks at -350

Martis is going to be in a whole world of trouble. Lefties bat .326 against him. The Yanks have Damon, Texeria, Cano, Posada, Matsui, Swisher, Melky. Martis also pitches to contact BB+SP/IP = .82
Also an extreme fly ball pitcher of a GB/FB ratio of .74 Not a good combination for Yankee stadium. Look what happened when Martis visited Citizen Bank park twice this year.

Offensively the Nationals suck, but they suck even worse batting against lefties @ .245 on the season. They are also in a major slump batting .221 the last 7 days. Everything points to the Yankees. Use them in parlays.
