Not by themselves, but they are one of the line services used for a starting point. Along with LVSC and a few others. I know this as a fact that CRIS gets all these and then Jack puts out the line he feels comfortable with. It's bet into early on NBA before it even hits the screen or there site.

Go ahead...tell me HOW and WHO makes the line for everyone? Love to hear your theory, cause mine is how CRIS gets to a line. And they are 1st most of the time, so lets here how you get the 1st line?@)

Jimmy Vacarro was on the radio out here before the Super Bowl and they ask him how Vegas sets the lines. He said every team has a power rating and they make adjustments to the power ratings week to week. Buy the Gold Sheet and you can almost figure what the line will be for next week's games.

CRIS gets a couple of lines from handicappers and it is up to Jack what he wants to use...

For all halftimes it is up to the head guy or whoever is in charge...CRIS has these lines up usually first so the head guy has to be pretty sharp...everything varies from sport to sport...when I was working, I always was in direct communication with my main man Boston Greg for all halftimes...

Opening lines are set by the linesman in charge...the line is then set by the money later on...
