who remembers flinte ray williams?

anyone remember this guy with unlv in the 1980's? where was he from?

You know me. Flinty Ray Williams was an outstanding guard at Dorsey High. Played on an unbelievebaly good high school team, that included James Wilkes (UCLA) Danny Ramsey (Pepperdine) and a lefty point guard (name escapes me), that also went to UNLV. They were undefeated and watched them thrash a Palisades HS team, that included Kiki Vandeweghe. Last I heard FR Williams was a pit boss in Vegas. Flintie started hs at Mt. Carmel HS (no longer around) before transferring to the Dons.

bk james wilkes use to play playground at a park off crenshaw blvd back in the 70's. el hud played as well a few years later. i went to pepperdine with danny ramsey who was a freshman a year after dennis johnson left. at some point ricardo brown became the star player. still wondering if you knew dexter tisby from fairfak high?

Don't remember Tisby from Fairfax. Only Dexter I recall is Dexter Howard from Pepperdine in late 80's early 90's. Played with Doug Christie, Tom Lewis, Shann Ferch, Craig Davis, LaMarr Wilson, Anthony Frederick, etc.

tisby broke all the city rushing records i believe in 75 at fairfax. probably been broke 50 times since then.
