Oklahoma loses to the Cowboys in Stillwater this weekend?

Obviously the winner of the 'Bama Florida game is going but if the Sooners lose it would then put Tech in the Big 12 Championship against Missouri with the head to head tiebreak over UT. Would Texas still get to play for the title without even playing in the conference championship game? No way Tech can move that far up to pass UT or even USC to get a shot at the SEC winner.

Someone fill me in.

Tech would move ahead of USC in the BCS (as they should) if they beat Mizzou in the Bog 12 title. Should they lose, Texas will easily remain ahead of USC under any circumstance but a Texas loss to A&M

i think the answer has to be yes. I do not see any way Texas can be passed by any team except for UF (by beating Bama) and Okla (by beating OKSt).

of course, if OU barely gets past OKSt and Texas whips TAMU then who knows if OU will stay ahead of Texas in the polls. The voters are fickle.

OU wins by 2-3 TDs though so the point will be moot.

Well if OU wins and Texas wins, UT should stay ahead of OU and play for the the Big 12 title. However if OU slips on the road Tech goes to the Big 12 title game but how can USC jump Texas if Texas doesn't lose.

I think if OU loses then you have a team either USC or Texas who hasn't won their conference playing for the title. Tech winning the Big 12 CCG still won't move them into the top 2 or 3 all the way from 7.
