I post a thread with solid info which pays off and it gets moved to the NBA Forum where no one sees it. I can understand that move if rules are rigid around here. But to move this post, made yesterday...
http://forum.therx.com/showthread.php?t=681067

and leave off-topic, non-gambling related BS here about Kobe, beantownJEEM, and a host of other meaningless topics is just ridiculous. Just my POV.

I didn't move the thread but after reading the link, it really does belong in the NBA Forum. If everybody posted their Sports plays in the Offshore Forum instead of the various sports forums, it would over load OS. OS has become somewhat of a hang out over the past couple of years where guys can go and talk about different things. The change was made after we eliminated the various forums like Entertainment, Finance, etc at the bottom of the forums page. I agree that some topics lack little value and we do try to make a judgment call and move them as well.

It wasn't a play. It was a suggestion backed up with reasoning why it would be a good idea to get on OVER 177.5 in the Cavs game before the move. I'll BET a few people who read here and don't read the NBA forum are sorry they read a thread about grilled chicken while mising this one.

I'm not pissed or anything. Just asking a reasonable question.

There are more readers/viewers in the NBA Forum that will appreciate your suggestion then the number of readers/viewers in the OS Forum. You're liable to get more feedback as well.

Why would you take the u180 if you have o177.5? Assuming 180 is an accurate number, you have about a 6% advantage where you were. Congrats on calling the move, but you're just diluting a solid play with a -ev one.

I think the OVER is the right side. In the last 2+ years in the Second Round including 7 games this year, betting UNDER in Game #1 and OVER in Game #2 gives you a 17-2 Result. But I have 3X my normal play on Over 177.5. Of course I'm going to buy some back.

Ted and Rob, I see your point, but I disagree. 80% of the threads in this room are not gambling related. Whoever missed this post also missd a 2.5 point middle so far.

I didn't move the thread either but just FYI - right now there are 768 viewers in the NBA Forum and 326 here in the Offshore Forum. The posters who are really looking for that kind of information scour the NBA forum everyday. This forum is a catch all almost 50/50 off topic discussion forum. Over 300 views have been accrued in the NBA forum and only 121 views here Offshore forum with this thread.

You do the math.

Thanks, wil..

Just wondering do you get a touts play via text message? He was on this OVER 177 1/2 as well early this morning. This tout is 12-1 in NBA playoffs.

Well, you may still end up at least My Hero

Watching the first 16 minutes of grind ball here hints we might see the 1H finish well Under 90, which could make the 2H Over 89 look pretty tasty

Oh man am I a dork.

That last post would have better placed in the NBA Forum rather than here in this here Complaint thread with 1/2 the viewers.

Relax mods, it's no big deal. I was just asking. One point though -- There may be more readers in the NBA forum, but there are more active posters here and the threads get more replies.

Mickey L,

No I don't buy touts. I do my own work and have a pile of stats and systems large enough to .... well, let's just say I hope a candle never tips over in here!

Bar I don't think I'd bet the 2nd Half Over. ATL might just quit. Many of these blowout games end up with players resting, and the backup pointguards dribbling for 20 seconds before throwing up cinder blocks. One 'L' on this turkey would be enough for me.

Edit: Actually my condition has improved with a late scoring surge to end the half. I'm heavier on the OVER at my normal size wager. I did buy back at 181.5, a 1/2 point early!

Not yet but I'm sure I will.

However, I'll probably stay away from the Usher cologne. I wouldn't WAGER on a fragrance recommended by beantownJEEM!

Complete Pass

With the 1H finishing 94, betting 2H Over 90 would be tantamount to playing the full game Over 184....no thank yee

I'd make UNDER the Favorite at 184 in a blowout game for reasons stated above.
