I read on another forum that pinny bought matchbook a few months back

makes sense to me

You believe everything you read ? Pinny supposedly bought some -104 shop dealing to the USA.

I read man ( US) landed on the moon in July 1969.

I don't believe anything until it's got factual backing. :ohno:

even more likely for the ref's

100k is pretty huge for H2 of NBA, where can you get that down ?

It is seriously a bit suspicious....

100k is a lot of money, I consider that a bit odd, actually !

almost as if ref fixed, if taken ?

Think about this, 100k out there, no biggie if not taken. I'd sure want my bet taken, if I liked something to the tune of 100k.

smells fishheady to me.

Even more Fishy, absolutely nothing on the total, but 100k on one side ?

It doesn't smell right, to me !

This happens every single night in the NBA. On almost any NBA H2 there will be at least 30-50k on one side, often times up to 100k or more. You may have to add 2-3 offers together to get that 100k as most are for 30-35k.

Matchbook offers a lot of credit.

And if I had seen that I would have bet as much as possible, as it is obvious that was a mistake by somebody. DET -3.5 was as close to a lock as you could get..down that much being out shot by 30%, let alone +3.5 EV.

You're calling this long after the game went final, brother !

Every book had this line !

get real !

I can pick about 100%, when the game is over, too !

There was a long thread about it at peeps place a few weeks back that had lots of info on this. Nothing was confirmed but a couple well respected posters had some information on it. Supposedly MB got stiffed by a large credit player and had to get "rescued" by another book or they would not be able to pay post ups. Interesting thread to read, makes sense to me because they have always been connected, they move lines within seconds of each others.

if you book sports to in any large fashion and manage your lines correctly you either have a matchbook acct or you are throwing money away. I believe that to be a fact.

not sure thats whats going on on nba 2h but i think thats a lot of what you see at mb

they do have a credit side.

sounds like Cascade Lenny's story ?

I'm not buying this MB needed to be rescued stuff, and Pinny bought them quietly stories.

This is saying Pinny went back to booking Gringos, as MB caters to the US.

100k on H2 of NBA can't really be a layoff, $tinky !

something is Fishheady here, just not sure what it is.

there must be large credit accounts at MB, but it can't be Pinny with the credit, if Pinny owns MB.

CRIS....why would they lay off
Grande ?

If you're 30k heavy on an NFL side ( and getting +110), have no opinion on the game....make an offer at MB ( no vig, really), say at +100. reduces your risk/ variance.

However you have to trust MB, and have a way of getting large sums there and back with ease and no trails.

I know INDIVIDUALS with large credit accounts at MB, so it isn't just books laying off action.

And Pinny does book "gringos", you just have to know an agent. There are plenty out there.

this is 100% correct...although they are only dealing with a few agents now...not like before
