Ricky Henderson loved using the 3rd person

Answer gotta be someone in combat sports though, to get into a ring/cage and fight another guy goes hand in hand with having a very confident personality that borders on narcissistic.

Dick's son. There's a documentary out there on what an asshole he is/was.

I had no idea Dick had a son that bowled on the tour. I grew up in the era of Dick Weber, Johnny Petraglia, and Earl Anthony. Bowling was quite the show back then and was very popular.

Me too... Mark Roth... My first cousin won 2 PBA titles during that time, I remember watching him on TV on Saturdays in the late 70's early 80's.

Never heard of this bowler dude Weber, I had to look him up. I guess bowling is a sport but the last time I watched bowling was at my nephews 6 year old party and they had bumpers up so it wouldn't fall in the ruts on the side. Don't think I could sit through a match or whatever they call a game.

I mean this Weber dude is like 5'6" tall. Must be a little man complex, don't see anyone get so excited about bowling that they would get in the face of an innocent spectator. 80% of the people in the audience have him by a good 100 pounds, including the women, I wouldn't talk too much smack little guy. If bowling is considered a sport, I guess ESPN got it right.

An interesting time. Every kid on our block played all the 3 major sports, but back then, most I knew were in at least one bowling league (most were in a couple). My first job was keeping score for my father's team (usually got $4). I bowled all the way through high school and topped out at a 160 average (highest game was 252). I remember being in a league as an adult and the last week was a money week. They had different colored pins and awarded money prizes for hitting them. I recall it totally changed the dynamic and I felt quite a bit of pressure (gave me a real appreciation for what these professionals did playing for the type of prize money they bowled for). Suddenly those pins that used to be so easy to hit became a little elusive.

I got my average into the 190s in college, but haven't bowled seriously since...
