Just to clarify, when you say "athlete" in this sense, you just mean anyone having played pro/college or major sports, not necessarily the actual physical talent?

I have to go with Yaz as my favorite Redsox player, without a doubt Bird for the Celtics, and I can't for the life of me think of a single Patriot who qualifies as an "alltime" great.
