Who is the Best Team in The MLB?

For the last two weeks I've been wondering who the best team in the MLB was. Every time you prepare yourself to crown a new "best in the game" they falter.

I personally don't think the Dodgers/Angels are even the best teams in their respective leagues. If I had to pick, I'd say the Yankee's and Phillies are the teams to beat.

What do you think?

I hope you're right about Tampa. I have a large future on them.

Looking at the shortage of hitting, I believe its the Phillies. Not really impressed with the Yankees defense.

Phillies in the NL especially after adding Lee at the break

Tough call between the Yanks and Sox. Lineups are even maybe a slight edge to Yanks because of the Tex-Arod combo but now with Victor Martinez the Sox have a very versatile lineup

Both 4 5 starters are garbage but in the playoffs Beckett-Lester vs Sabathia-Burnett is a great matchup

Bullpen and defense go to the Sox

At this point I would say it is a tossup.. Yanks are in 1st place currently, but they have also lost every game they played against Boston so far this season
