Cal - the one's who haven't been to the Rose Bowl since Forever. Lost to Oregon State, yes a Mike Riley coached team at home.

WV's defense is currently 4th ranked in points given up at 14.9 points per game which is just over half of the league average

They may have a good defense but when the offensive rankings of your opp. to date are : 13,47,55,70,87,104,112 and 116th in yds. who's defensive #s wouldn't look good, especially with WVU's running game eating clock.

lsu has the most talent across the board.

but as of tuesday october 30th, give me oklahoma straight up against anyone in college football to win a one game national championship showdown.

sooners have the fewest question marks of any team and they can beat you equally with the run and the pass. theyre one of the few teams who, from week to week, could decide they want to ring up 300 yards rushing ..... and do it. and then the next week decide they want to ring up 300 yards passing ... and do it (and do it in the flow of the game).

incidentally, i took a piece of oklahoma to win the title game at +450 earlier this week. i dont see how they could possibly lose another big 12 game. and then at that point, theyre not going to be huge underdogs to any team they would (potentially) play in the title game. just a matter of whether or not they play missouri or kansas in the b12 title game. they will hammer kansas. but on a neutral field might have a tough time with the tigers in a rematch.
