Who is Steve Wynn?

I just read his name in the Vancouver Sun. All it says " is that gambling billionare Steve Wynn" possibly could have purchased some expensive art.Who is he?

RX poster KYHAWK and myself had the privlidge of caddying for Mr. Wynns private golf course Shadow Creek when it first opened and was only allowed to be played by Mr. Wynn himself and a few mega millionaires and celebrities.

Never caddied for Steve himself, but I do believe maybe KYHAWK did.

He is building the most luxurious casino ever called Le Reve. 2700 rooms and an 18 hole Championship golf course.

A genius....

In addition to the casino hotels mentioned, he built Bellagio. People thought he was crazy. After a short while the place turned to an absolute money machine like most everything he gets involved with.

Sold out and got even richer in merger with MGM. (Much to the dismay of any of us who used to frequent the Mirage properties because MGM bean counters are a bunch of turds)

Now back on the build with Wynn Las Vegas which will totally cripple every place in town in the way of very high level play!

MGM owns the Beuau Rivage..so I asssume they built it too..I believe he also built the Borgata in Atlantic City..but partnered up with Boyd Gaming...anyone who has been to AC in the last year knows what a gold mine that turned out to be and has basically destroyed all the other casinos now there...I read a book on him a dew years back..he was a murder supect a long time ago, but they could never come up with enough evidence to charge him...real interesting and brilliant guy
