I never believed in the SI jinks before until I lost the Phil VS Carolina game. They not only lost the game but McNabb gets hurt on a fluke play. Is that a coincidence or a jinks?

This reason is as valid as the SI cover theory, beside I've already capped it.

This may sound stupid, after watching SI ruin teams / players for years by putting them on the cover. This cover really has me questioning my CAR pick. I made $$$ earlier this year when they put KC on the cover @ 8-0. That being said is that the SI for this week or last week, because we did have that extra week this year?

Micheal Jordan has been on the cover of SI more than any other person. I don't think it hurt his career.

bill parcells daughter use to work for SI, he asked that he NEVER be put on the cover..every year they pick the SI'S #1 college football team..every year that team ends up in the toliet..so i'll shut up now and say...NEW ENGLAND COVERS!!!! YIPEEEEE

and where is Jordan from boys and girls? yup, unh huh. he is from carolina. when unc appeared on the cover they also won the championship.
