From 1964 till 1973 the thing I remember the most was the nightly body count on the news,
every nite you would hear 50 dead or a 100 dead nightly for about 8 years.

Sorry, I wasn't born until 1972. However, there is no debate that this war is going very well so far.

Exactly my point K...war is a 100 hrs old and people are comparing it to Nam..huge diff. no comparison.

Also too young, it ended two years after I was born.

As far as the nature of the fighting I don't think any war will ever compare to Nam.

Do you remember the lying-ass polititians and generals saying that "victory is less than 6 months away"?
 
Patriot,remember it very well.Most vivid was watching the tv draft when my 2 older brothers were elligable.Luckily neither had to go.
