Bill Belichick without question....if he didn't have a kicker, he would be nothing right now....just ask Browns fans.

I don't understand how some of these guys are on an overrated list...guys like Tice, Sherman, Martz, etc... were never thought to be worth a damn, at least by anyone that I know that knows anything about football.

How in the World can you guys say that Bill "Tuna" Parcells is the most overpaid?

Lets see how many teams has he gotten to the Super Bowl?

Parcells has super bowl rings and I will always give him credit for the masterful game plan he had against Buffalo.

The defensive game plan for that game is in the HOF which was drawn up by his assistant Bill Belichick.

...also take note that Bill belichick won 3 super bowls without Parcells...parcells has never won a SB without Belichick.

Oh my most overated coach is Tony Dungee....watch the Pats pull their annual shock and awe routine on the Colts in Indy.

Many have the same feeling...........precisely why he is vastly overrated.

BILL BELECHICK.....just had lots of great assistants...they left!
Look at him this season w/o them!

They are ALL overrated. If you don't have players you don't win. If you do have players, or players that WANT to play, you do win. It is THAT simple.

Look at Minnesota. Did Mike Tice suddenly learn how to coach?

Look at the injuries, defections and retirements. He's won three of the past Super Bowls and granted, Belechick had great assistants, but the team will win their division this year and remember, Brady is undefeated in the playoffs.
I think he's one of the best coaches and far from being overrated. Also, good coaches let their assistants contribute and don't just have them collecting a salary.

you have to be kidding. they are going to win the AFC East again while playing guys in the secondary that they picked up off the street.

It would be a major accomplishment for half the coaches in the league to win their division. Then try doing it without Rodney Harrison (starter), Ty Poole (starter), Chad Scott, Gus Scott, Randall Gay, Duane Starks all on the IR. Not to mention significant games missed by Bruschi, corey Dillon, kevin Faulk, Matt Light, daniel graham, david givens all with a brutal first half schedule.
