If I am on the fence on a certain game I will wait to see how starters look. When I cap mlb I often look to bet against a starter who shows poor form last 5 starts. By waiting an inning or 2 I get a little more info on the starters. By waiting value is often lost & you have to pay more but I am ok with that knowing I like what I see.

I love live betting. I typically do this in NBA because those games can be so streaky at times. If a team is heavily favored, but struggles out of the gate, I jump on them as I know they will turn it on soon. I do this a lot in second halves too. I wait for the favorite to go on a drought, let the game get closer, then hit the favorite. This is risky of course, and obviously doesn't always work out, but it's something I do regularly.

Warriors are a great team to bet when they are down 10+ points. a ten point deficit is nothing to them.
