None of these systems are winning systems, and none of them change the house edge.

The best way to win at craps is to not play.

Of course mathematically there is no way to be a winner at craps

There are shady things you can do though like not point out dealer mistakes in your favor or propositioning don't bettors for their established don't pass and don't come bets they sometimes take down

I did the latter at Caesar's for awhile and then a suit came over and told me to stop. I was drunk and cussed him out. Didn't get thrown out though

I also knew a high roller who acted the drunk whale really well. He would throw out a $5000 chip in the come bet area (just before the roll) a few times a trip and insist it was a bet for a come bet if a 7/11 rolled, and some type of odds/spread if anything else was rolled. Still went broke eventually though

wonder what his initial bet was? you remember?

when we walked up to the table he was already there ....starting off at $3K, with the people that were at the table. ( he had about $35K in front of him at that time )
But when it was my buddies turn to roll, he started with $1500 ( guess not knowing if he can roll or not )
My buddy made 3 points within 10 minutes ... then crapped out.

The guy did the same with me, but I held the dice for almost 25 minutes and made 5 passes
The best was when I rolled Three 11's in a row ... that got him a little pissed, and he showed it ... and had the balls to complain to one of the dealers.. lol

anyway he walked away the table with a lot less chips in his hand.

Yeah when I was doing it one of the dealers commented he has never seen it done. I had never seen it done either but I figured why not. As long as you know the math involved you are getting the best of it and the don't bettor is getting what he wants (-ev for him though). Problem is the casino is getting cut out of what they make when the don't bets get taken down so I doubt it is sustainable. I had a guy beside me betting $25 chips and if I remember correctly I gave him $26 for his 6, 8 ,5 and 9 and $28 for the 4 and 10. I would tip the dealer $1 each 4 and 10 transaction and he would move the chip around to my position.

Earlier that night I watched an old codger by himself at a craps table betting $5k chips on the don't pass and don't come, laying full odds. I watched in disbelief as he took down a point and 3 come bets because he got a bad feeling. That's what inspired me to do what I did later. I think I may have tried it a few more times but it isn't a common opportunity.

also, one day I'll tell you about the guy that was at a table last year in vegas that used this ... and lost $30,000 :)

Was staying at the Riviera many many years ago. I played craps every day for 4 days. It was one of those trips where the dice just stayed hot for 4 days. Every day we would get at least 2 long rolls which you need at craps to make money, at least the way I play. Well there was a guy who had a clipboard and was charting and playing the don't the whole time. He would vary his bets but played the don't only. He was not having any fun and was getting buried. The last day he comes down in the morning with no clipboard. He gets his chips and orders a drink and starts playing the pass line and betting all kinds of shit. He had a blast like the rest of us, got drunk like the rest of us, and made money like the rest of us. That was the best I have ever seen craps tables for that long. I was also at the Rio once for 4 days and never caught one roll the whole time. Absolutely got buried.

Bet the pass line. Once the number is established, bet the max odds.
Once the number is established, bet the come.
ONce that number is established, bet the max odds on the come bet and bet another come.
ONce that number is established, bet the max odds on the 2nd come bet.

Then do nothing and wait/hope the numbers hit. ONce a number hits (whether pass or come), then bet either pass/come (whichever number hit) and do max odds.

Example:

Bet the pass line. Shooter rolls an 8.
Put max odds on your pass line and make a come bet
Shooter rolls a 4. (now your numbers are 8 and 4). Put max odds on that come bet (4) and make another come bet.
Shooter rolls a 6. Put the max odds on the come bet (6).

Now your numbers are 4 6 and 8. If the shooter hits any of those numbers, then rebet. Example- shooter rolls a 4. U will collect on that come bet.
So next roll, bet the come. Lets say shooter rolls a 5. Put the max odds on the come bet and your numbers are now 5,6, and 8.

This is how i've been playing for 15 years and i win more than i lose. This is not a guaranteed winner (nothing is) but this is a tough grind.

However, many times i'd have to dip into my bankroll early (shooter will crap out on 4th or 5th roll and totally F ME) so be prepared.

You MUST have a good bankroll on you and be prepared to lose (just in case) by playing this system.

Good luck

I have played a lot of craps (relatively speaking) and I don't think I have ever seen a guy walk away down $$$ playing don't pass and pressing it. And I've never played that way...

I've seen many don't players run away from the tables down big, even progressive players.

Sometimes I wonder why they walk up to or stay at a hot table when there are so many cold tables around.

I don't play by the book, which gives the house minimal vig. I play what's seems to be hot. If 9's are rolling , I pound the 9. If people are making 1 pass bet, I pound the first number. Sometimes trends are established, not always.

The trick is money management, maybe more so at a craps table than anywhere else. You have to make it to that " one roll".

Bet small when the table is cold, and press like mad when it's hot.

I lose more often than I win, I think everyone does. But when I win, winning sessions are much larger than losing sessions

been as short as 20 minutes, been as long as 18 hours

I have never gone over 6 hours in Craps, 18 hours ... that must have been a Great table

I also have had my share of those 20-30 minute sessions

unlike what the Casinos want you to give them ( 4-6 hours per day ) I just WON'T give them that amount of time, and lll of my Hosts know that Up Front.
I'm not a Whale but I play pretty up there ... My Time range per day is 2-4 hours in Craps
If I'm getting killed at any point, I will walk away and find a 3-Card Poker table just to kill time, and get to sit a while. ( it's a no thinking game )

I'm all over the place. Sometimes I go to the table with as little as $200, sometimes $2000 and sometimes as much as $10,000. Some days you see me at the $50 table, some days at the $5 table. All depends.
