I think its realistic to say I have lost over a hundred grand..looking at it in a very simple way I have been gambling since 18 and am 31 now I love the action and would never turn down a bet of any kind... I am confident that I have lost anywhere between 7-10K a year....Its really pretty terrible when you think what that money could have done in a conservative mutual fund over the same time period...Internet Poker really put me deep in the hole. I made a serious amount of money in 2009 and I thought I was the next DURRR..Could not have been more wrong...Gave it all back very quickly and was negative until Black Friday ended everything..

Between all the home poker games, dice games at parties, casinos, online sports betting, racetracks, I am definitely 100K in

have been seriously gambling for about 10-12 years.....had bad years and really bad weekends.....

i'd say if i broke it down:
up a few thousand in poker
down at least $10k in sports
down at least $15k in vegas (casino gambling)

can't imagine being in for $100k.....give me another few years

If you gamble for several years it's actually very easy to be down over 100k even for an average player

Lost 36,000 the day after the SB when NE beat StL because I had that much in my Aces Gold account when it went bellyup.

Way below $100,000.

Unless you are in debt though from it, most gamblers only remember the past 2 weeks, and I'm up about $3500. So I'm a winner!!!

Geesh, you guys want some credit??

Anyway, not sure how much I'm up or down. I respect all the posters who can admit being down 100k or more. If I were down that much I'd probably have some justification going in my head telling me that it was "cheaper than xyz countryclub..." or some sh*t like that...

I regularly played at a BJ table with an Indian woman who finally told me she was down $100+ and I never saw her bet more than $25 a hand...talk about grinding out $100k...
