I used to...worked hard and didn't understand what it was doing to me. One day the severe headaches started, so bad that I had to stay home from work. Seventeen days later I realized that I couldn't see out of my right eye. In the E.R. my blood pressure was 205 over 125. The pressure pretty much killed the retina in my right eye, but that's what saved my life.
I got on heavy medication, went back to work, and the hreadaches started again. Seeya. They were wild, especially when I asked the HR director how tall the statue of me would be if I dropped dead in the office.
That was 1 year ago last month. I bought a new Harley and rode it 11,000 miles with a tent and sleeping bag, rainsuit, two extra pairs of jeans, AAA maps, and a credit card.
I am never, ever, ever going to put myself into another situation like that. Stress kills--get your blood pressure checked. Think I'll go re-up my AAA membership. And the BP is back to normal, no more medication per my doctor!
