Come on 5teamparlay

USC plays in the "mighty powerful" Pac-10 conference.

They beat a "mighty powerful" Washington State

Plus they had a "mighty powerful" non-conf schedule of Auburn, Hawaii, BYU, and the "might" Irish that are looking great on t.v. right now.

They are the most "deserving" team to play Oklahoma, can't you see that.

You're right. Their schedule hasn't been very tough. But they are a damn good, balanced football team. If you're on the East Coast and haven't watched them much this year, check out this afternoon's game. I think you'll be impressed w/ their talent.

the notre dame loss alone wont help LSU but USC's point lead i would assume is less than the 1.53 it was this morning. Hopefully LSU will be sending Syracuse a fruit cake as a thank you when it's all said and done.

DO YOU THINK THE CUSE WIN MAY INSPIRE USC TO POUND ON OSU A BIT MORE IF THEY COULD AND NOT CALL OFF THE DOGS AS USUAL?? I SEE THE SPREAD IS AT 22.

Not a LSU or USC fan but I do think LSU has proved more throughout the year than USC has. I think it was kind of ridiculous how everyone said they deserved the title game last year despite two teams being undefeated. They should have played the entire year instead of the last 3 or 4 games.

Don't really care who plays but I don't like how USC gets to play because they lost earlier in the year to a far inferior team than LSU lost to. If LSU would have lost earlier in the year they would be sitting at #2 right now.

What does it say when they are #3 and can still maybe jump USC. They have a better strength of schedule, more quality wins, and higher computer average. If only one of the polls would jump then to second, they would be playing OU. The reason they won't is they lost after USC lost.

11 Games....USC has won by an avg. margin of 23.4 pts. and the beavers do not play well against the Trojans. USC by 24......GL Players
