scary game for sure as I have a tremendous amount of respect for UGA...my thoughts are that as long as Cox is at QB for them they won't score a ton in this one and with the way South Carolina plays D they could find a way to stay in this game late...plus I like that South Carolina has had 2 extra days to prepare...

S Car and Ga generally play a smashmouth type of g; even when there are bona fide offensive stars (Stafford last year); the under has traditionally been a steal. But this year both offences struggled in g 1; so oddly, I am still betting the under and Cox with 8 pts. Both teams know SEC wins are precious; and losing your first SEC g is not desired; may be what leads to close , low scoring; defensive, conservative games.

The Sturdivant Factor

Totally agree with the under and I did play SC+8 fairly large. I am hoping to middle a bit of it back at -6.5. We'll see.

I feel terrible for Sturdivant, Ga's outstanding LT. Lost for year 2nd straight year. Not fair for that young man.

I will not be surprised if under drops from 38.5 to 37.5
