underrated - Detroit of course is obvious but i don't know how a team with a 29-14 record can be underrated so my second choice is LA Dodgers, they got a great lineup and good pitching, just need to fix the bullpen (gagne will be back)
I don't think Seattle is even close to overrated because they are not rated highly at all. Who expected them to be good ? They use to be good but not anymore.
Most Overrated: Cleveland, Baltimore, Cubs (At the start of the year)
god with all my heart I hope you are right about the Tigers. I have watched or listened to almost every game and they have pitched beyond anyone's wildest dreams ( 8 shutouts so far this year, most in MLB).
One stat I like is they have outscored their opp's more than ANY team has in baseball. That has to mean they are at least a decent team. It's funny but every fans goal for the year was to win around 82-85 games and boy that now changed, that would be a HUGE dissapointment if that is what they ended up at.
Underrated: Rockies. They have a nice core of young hitters to go with much improved pitching. I think they will battle for the west right down to the wire.
Overrated: Yankees. No pitching = another year without a title. Their prices have been ridiculous at times this year. Would not be surprised if they missed the playoffs.
