I would like to see the words David Stern and recovery site in the same sentence.

This guy makes Madoff look like a saint.

The draft lottery, what a joke. Fixing it so Ewing would go to NYC, Lebron to CLE and Rose to CHI.

He claims Donahey is convicted felony every time, but his league is the only one that comes under the microscope and people constantly question it.

FUCK YOU STERN. I hope he gets dragged like Richard Byrd.

nobody constantly questions it now. maybe a couple years ago. i post at the biggest nba forum on the net, and nobody has talked about fixing any time lately. the only people who question it, are the people here who just say dumb shit after they lose. they're starting to do the same thing with mlb, and they do it here every year with the nfl. more and more ive seen that lately. these people are simply degenerates that should be in rehab somewhere. therx is not mainstream american opinion. like scott l said, half this forum thinks the world is going to end in 6 months. people run with dumb stories constantly just to kill time. if you think there is a mainstream opinion that the league is fixed, you need your head examined. the only time you see that is here, and on some team blogs with anonymous trolls.

fixing the lottery is another popular chase by conspiracy theorists. they said griffin would go to okc this year, and dissapeared after that didnt happen.

its people looking for something. you choose to buy into it, so you'll see a conspiracy in anything even when there is none.

and tim donaghy is a convicted gambling degenerate felon. if you take his word, then i dont know what to say. i guess its just more of the same outlandish takes that people need to take to make them stand out. i dont know how you defend a guy like that, at least in a serious matter.

the ratings for the NBA are through the roof, MLB will not be able to match that this postseason. 1 NHL team is bankrupt, another on the verge, and 1/4th of mlb teams have declined in value over the past season. NBA and NFL slope upwards, MLB has plataeud, NHL is a blip.

i am a strong defender of stern as I believe he is by far the best current commissioner in sports. he turned the NBA from a cult league like the NHL is now, to a global powerhouse. Betteman destroyed his league, Selig is in the process of destroying his league, and Goodall i'm indifferent on, hasn't had enough time to prove himself yet.

If the draft was completely random, how many similar coincidences would there have been in the 25? If you are going to make extreme claims, at least have some evidence other than your own extreme foolishness

I don't like Stern either, mainly because of his attitude that any criticism, no matter how ligitimate is virtual slander. But if you are going to criticize, pick something that is ligitimate

Are you David Stern, or just a fuckhead? Do you seriously think the league would admit to doing that?

why would you run with that though when you have no proof. it sounds like something somebody made up and just ran with, and grew over time.

a frozen envelope, please. dont be so gullible.
