OKC blew it at home, that was their game to win. I hope Golden State wins, but hope they don't cover. I think OKC will cover tonight.

I think the momentum swing will just be too much for OKC to overcome. GS by 11.

Durant's hero ball is really getting old. Now watch, after a shitty game he'll try to overcompensate and be a one man show tonight. If Donavan can't rein him in and get him under control, he needs to sit him and let some of these other players get involved. Morrow is stud who is WAY underused. Personally I think the Thunder are done because GS is feeling it right now and have all the momentum. But for the Thunder to have any chance at all, it can't just be the Westbrook & Durant show.

Gonna go out on a limb and say benching Durant for Anthony Morrow is a bad idea.

He forced a few shots, relax. If he wasn't playing great the last few weeks then they wouldn't have beaten the Spurs and have a game 7 with the Warriors tonight.

It cant be the westbrook and durant show, because they have not proven, in this series, to be capable of taking over. Those 2 straight out sucked the last 5 minutes the other night, durants transition defense was about as good as westbrooks ball security ( 4 turn overs in the last 100 seconds of the game, yes 4) I mean, are we holding the lesser players accountable but not the stars?

Those two have to play like stars tonight. I would not put my money on it.

He's been a turnover machine. The last 3 turnovers of the last game were all by Durant. I'm not sure scoring 30 points is worth it if your going to turn the ball over 10 times in a game. Hopefully Durant is a little more self-aware tonight..But they still need to get Morrow more involved. Donavan for the most part has done a brilliant job of coaching in the playoffs. But I think even he would admit he didn't use his bench very well the other night.

This is basically the reason the Thunder haven't won a championship with Westbrook and Durant. They both want to be heroes and are too stingy with the ball. Especially in the 4th quarter. It's why I don't think the Thunder will ever win an NBA title with these two. They're starting to look like the 90's Bills. Talented but flawed when it comes to closing out teams...

Not really. He has 3 turnovers the last two games and he is playing almost the entire game. And the reason they don't use their bench more is because most of those guys wouldn't last 2 minutes against GS. You can't really play bad defenders against them. Even Kanter, who is a pretty good overall player, can really struggle against them. Morrow has always been terrible defensively, that's why he doesn't play more.

You realize the Thunder have had major injuries the last 3 years right? Regardless of how it would've went down had they been healthy, that is the main reason they haven't won a title.

Think you have to tip your hat to Iguadola. Times like this, u wish maybe durant had a post game and just shot over the smaller player, cause you aren t getting around him, he s too strong. Very poor shot selection last few minutes of that game. I love Westbrooks heart, but as a general, he doesn t understand, less is more sometimes. 4 turnovers that late destroyed his team.

Also, Durant's D has been excellent for most of the series.
Like I said, for the most part Donavan has done an amazing job throughout the playoffs. But the other night could have been a defining moment for him. I wish he would've got in KD's ass during a timeout and told him that the ball had to continue to move, keep passing, trust the offense that got them the lead. And if KD ignored that, I would've said fuck you KD and benched him. Basketball is a team game. Many coaches and players could take a lesson from Pappy. The "team" concept is what has made his teams so successful...

It's tough to post against a team like that when they're going small. You're covering a lot of ground out there and Durant can't really catch the ball that far in deep. They don't really have much spacing out there for him to do that either. Especially with their starting lineup.

The few times a team has had 2 guys that good it's always a tough balance to decide who should have the ball the last 4-5 minutes. In this case I think Westbrook is who I would want to go through since Durant is a little better spacer and off the ball but a lot of that has to do with feel and who has it going.

Why not post durant and run the offense through him. He s smart enough and unselfish and he should be able to shoot over the top. I agree, that death line up is too quick and covers too much ground for westbrook to beat 4 guys to the rim. It sucked watching okc turn into the knicks the last 5 minutes, 4 guys watching durant shoot off balance contested jumpers. God, Iggy plays great defense.

Greens ability to stay in front of westbrook kills that adams pnr.
