I've got:

1) Baylor
2) Alabama
3) Ohio State
4) TCU

Given their injury issues on defense, I think TCU can be had obviously either at Oklahoma or Baylor. The PAC-12 has been turned upside down this year, Stanford is now my top rated team in the PAC this week, hard to believe after the lemon in week #1 against Northwestern, but that loss is looking better with each passing week.

It`s hard to put a team in the top 4 when they play no defense.

I like teams that play solid on both sides of the ball.

And T.C.U and Baylor play no defense....Both those teams have to win games 60-50....That`s not a top 4 team in my definition.

Ohio State <- Defending champions.
Utah <- The looked impressive against a strong Michigan team (Currently 18).
NW <- Took care of business beating Stanford (Currently 16) and Duke.
Florida <- Looked good against Ole Miss. I don't watch the SEC much so LSU could be better then them.

TCU is not on my radar until the beat someone that is good.

Baylor is like the Oregon of old. They have just enough defense to outscore their opponents. TCU don't.
I wouldn't judge TCU too much by what they did against Texas. The Horns were coming off 2 devastating losses in a row. I didn't expect them to play well against the Frogs.

The top four right now is such:

1) Ohio state
2) Michigan state
3) tcu
4) lsu

but that's not who I feel is the best four teams.... These are the best two teams from the best conferences that I feel are the most complete and playing the best football in all facets and will end up with the best chances to make the playoffs... No particular order

Alabama/LSU
Stanford/utan
Michigan/Ohio state
oklahoma/ Baylor

The best defense I have seen this season thus far is Florida......That is a solid defense......And Utah can play nice defense also.

Not a single mention of Stanford. I'm personally in love with this team. 4-0 ATS since the NW loss which isn't looking so bad these days. And their ATS wins haven't even been close. They have it all: Pro QB, solid running game, solid defense. Shaw has removed the training wheels, lookout folks.

In no particular order:

Bama
Stanford
Baylor
Tex AM

And with OU on deck. But they still don't execute...

Based on results THIS YEAR, nothing more
UTAH - Wins over Michigan, and at Oregon, along with gritty win over Utah St.
Florida - Wins over Ole Miss, Kentucky, Tennessee and a pretty decent East Carolina team. Not bad for a rebuilding team
Northwestern - Power 5 wins over Stanford, Duke and Ga Tech. Although I think Stanford would beat them now, does not matter.
Texas A&M - Wins over Arizona St, Arkansas, and Miss St is impressive

You of all people should know not to doubt Gary Patterson with the defense. We have literally been playing without 9 starters that started the year. We got a few back this past weekend, and should get 1 more back next weekend. Yes, we lost 4 for the season on defense to injury, but getting those lineman back should help with the rush and to not leave the back 7 all alone all day. If we can make it through the next 2 weeks, then we have a bye before WVU. Should give those new players on defense more time to learn before the tough part of the schedule comes up. Yes, Texas offense is horrible, but they didn't score until the waterboys and cameramen were on the field late in the 4th in a 50-0 game this weekend.
