i dont know mantis,, i think thats more cnn propaganda shit,,, i think when the rubber meets the road,,, the repubs will stay in their lane,, and the moderates will bleed over to trump too,, hillary is crooked as they get, and she is looking worse every passing week with no appearances, and continued fake charity work,, that will become a new wound for her come the first debate, lol,,, and she may not recover,,, running a crooked charity is like juggling a TURD,, shit gets on everyones hands and doesnt leave easily,

You might be right. Republicans do tend to fall in line. I can only you tell you that as terrible as she is, I'm not voting for him.

Should be interesting to see unfold, with two horrendous options available it may have a look and feel unlike previous elections. Trump will probably do worse that any Republican in the last half century among educated voters, but will likely exceed previous Republican candidates amongst skilled labor, blue collar/union professions. I believe about a quarter of registered Republicans are women where there be some leakage, unlikely to Clinton, but away from Trump.

Many traditional Democratic male voters will sway away from Clinton and regardless of where they end up, should help Trump. I would assume Clinton won't be able to reproduce the black turnout for Obama, which would also be a plus for Trump. Not sure how far that would have to drop to make a significant impact, many projections I've seen suggest if the black vote reverts to turnout level of pre-Obama, Clinton should still be safe, but those could be unfounded projections.

I am college educated and a Trump voter. Hillary offers more of the same. Welfare, gun control, the deficit will keep ballooning, apologizing to and not confronting islam, meeting with the racist and terrorist organization called black lives matter, supporting the Iran nuclear deal, the worst deal ever negotiated, more syrian refugees, more amnesty to illegals, higher taxes, more regulations, weakening the military, more political correctness, worrying more about trannies being able to use whatever bathroom they want than confronting radical islam, more terrorism, allowing people to vote without showing picture id, activist supreme court justices stripping our constitutional rights, chief aid abedin and her Islamic ties, more socialism, bankrupt social security, continuation of obamacare, open borders, oppressive corporate taxes continuing to force companies offshore, tsa not being able to racially profile. That is just for starters off the top of my head.

I wonder why this forum is so far off the from the rest of the nation?

maybe we follow politics a little more than the average person (It's certainly not less)

or maybe there's something about the Rx's demographics, mostly working white men?

and there's obviously not a very strong representation of the democratic base

For the 6 who voted to not waste their gas, keep in mind that the Presidential race is not the only important election taking place. Local and state elections are very important also so everyone get out and vote even if you don't vote for a President.

I understand there are those who can not believe anybody would support Hillary for President, and I get that. She is not my ideal candidate either. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is the alternative and I do not feel comfortable with that man being the representative of our nation to the rest of the world...and do not understand how anyone can support him for this election.

I consider myself to be a moderate democrat. Mostly liberal on social issues and fairly conservative on fiscal issues. For those that are staunch Republicans...support your representatives for the House and Senate and then we can hit reset in four years.

The fact that these 2 are the only legitimate options shows you how bad of shape or perceived shape the country is in.

The debates have basically been reality TV. Very little actual policy or solutions. Mostly vague answers. Each attacking the others character. I don't think it will be as close as it looks. It will continue for 8 more years and then the same shit people bitch about now will be revisited and the country and race lines will be far worse. Terrorism will continue to rise as well as inflation from handouts, healthcare will collapse.

It's only free when someone else is paying for it.
