There's many resons why people would ride the bus....
a)They dont have a license, wheather they cant pass test, understand english or have had their privelges revoked.
B)Conveinence, not having to deal with traffic....
c)Although in Motown the most common reason is probably option A or they just cant afford one...By the time u buy a car, registration, emmisions, car insurance.....and pay the outrageous gas prices...the average american's salary doesnt let them afford rent, phone, gas, water, electricity....especially in some lower class part of Michigan....

Riding a buss (or even a $55,000,000 tram) makes sense if you live in a city that hates cars. The city wont' build new roads. They won't fix the streets. They put up stop signs for no reason. They put up "traffic calming" barriers on the side streets. They confiscate parking downtown and put in these useless "street cars." And the city makes life hell for the gas station owners. And don't even think about opening a drive-thru business.

TRS is being specific here. Hes not bashing everyone on buses. Just:
"Geez some of these people look like some of the biggest idiots. I see them all the time waiting for the bus with a cell phone, pants hanging down past the ass and $100 shoes. "
I doubt these are doctors, lawyers,frugal people trying to save a couple of pennies or ecofreindlies trying to save the planet.
