i can tell it's not a superstore by the picture...super walmarts are 10-20 times better than that ghetto one you are going to and understand why you thought the way you did and many others on here....need to visit a superstore....i honestly didn't think the old ones still existed until i got down here to FL a year ago. Suprised Elgin is not up with the times!

As a married degenerate I just want to know who among us wants to go shop at a store the size of a football field?

Hell I stay away from malls for the same reason.

Cheap ass bastards will lay 30 cents juice to buy a half point but will park thier car 100 yards from a store walk another mile while in the complex to save a few bucks.

What does Wallmart have that you can;t buy with a click of a mouse?

We are friends, but if people are going to bash rednecks at wallmart, please cover all the political incorrectness bases include all the spooks, ragheads, and greasers also shopping there.

I've never thought twice about going to a Wal-Mart when it is convenient (case in point, my lady lives in Birmingham and has a Super Wal-Mart right around the corner). However, where I live in Reston, VA, the closest Wal-Mart is probably a good 8-10 miles away in Sterling. Not worth the drive to save the few cents.

Blue, I'd be curious to here a bit more about the general "locale" of that Wal-Mart. I have been to Wal-Mart's in a variety of neighborhoods and there are definitely differences in the cleanliness, staff friendliness and general "feel" of the store (although, I will admit to never having noticed an odor as you did. Maybe just a bad B.O. day for a few in the store, as I was privy to someone's bad "funk" in my neighborhood Best Buy (and some might argue this is a "good" area fwiw - not much as far as I'm concerned). Stores seem to be filled with more funk around the holidays anyway (people sweating too much as they stress over gifts).

I have been to a Wal-Mart in Salt Lake City (in the downtown area) that would knock your socks off (The design included brick and was obviously trying to appeal to a different clientele), some great SuperCenters in tulsa, birmingham, nashville and destin (florida). On the other hand, I've been to some that were not as pleasant also in Tulsa and Birmingham and Montgomery (worst I've visited). But, in comparison, I would have to say it was more than just the Wal-Mart but those areas of the city in general.

Just love walmart. i go for entertainment value. no cover charge to see the show. kind of like people that go to the circus for a good time.
Two of my favorite walmart locations, Vegas (rainbow and spring mountain). i am too big a pus*y to go to the nellis location. Homestead Fla. was great too. Midnight in vegas tons of people with their kids, 17 year old girls dressed like strippers, mullet males methed out looking for cold medicine. Just love it!

Valium, that group of people falls within the greaser designation. As white trailer trash falls within the redneck designation.

dude, did you just call my mom and dad white trash?

meet me in the rubber room and i will abuse you like the punk you are.

Yeah, by default, I guess I did.

You had your shot at me during the bash...will have to wait until next year.

Dont start fronting like an uppity sob just because you have a decent job, home in the suburbs...keep it real...you are still a wage slave...just like most of this country.

This place would be boring without posters like you.

Wallmart sucks...but thats capitalism, and it is what it is.
