For me:

1. Pop
2. Ron Jeremy
3. Draw - Budenholzer/Joerger

I'm not a Tibbs fan

spoelstra has a ring so i'd prob give him third, but guys like thibs, kerr, budenholzer, joerger, and hornacek are all up there as they've done really good work with their teams this year

Popovich Thibodeau, Budenholzer.

Carlisle and Joerger also in the discussion. Kerr and Stevens rising quickly in my book.

I also love Stan Van Gundy. He's another guy that could be near the top in a couple seasons.

In the NBA, talent trumps all. Defying could lead the Cavs to the playoffs.

notta chance.

EDIT, you said playoffs, Yes, Completely True. I thought I read title first.. Yeah, playoffs, this team could make the east conference playoffs without any coaches

Jake T...i like your coaching evaluations...(minus Thibodeau)

how can you not like Thib??

Pop, Thib.................. next person, which I'm still not sure who that is...Budenholzer is definitely the name I put in there, but I think it'smore of higher ceiling...

Oh wait, George Karl is now active, I guess the 3 are easy now IMO.

Poppovich is overated. They got luck in the draft. Robinson to Duncan and 2 very late picks ( for the NBA) in Parker and Ginobli. And now you have Leaonard. Credit the front office. NBA is unlike any other sport. You give me Lebron and I am in it. No matter the coach.

for the most part I agree....but this year's golden state seems much better than last year and not too many player changes....just new coach

I disagree 100%. Popovich deserves all the credit he gets, and more. He's done more with less for years.

Popovich by a country mile......

Five NBA championships...this season will be his 18th consecutive winning season (NBA record).

He took over the Spurs in 1996, making him the longest tenured coach in American major professional
sports.

popovich, carlisle, and svg.

I dont follow the nba like i used to but have never been impressed with Thibs. A defensive mind who gets his player to play hard. Playoffs comes he gets outcoached schematically and can't adjust.
