Hendley walked Lou Johnson on a three-and-two pitch that. Ron Fairly dropped a sacrifice bunt that Hendley bobbled, leaving his only play at first base. On the first pitch to Jim Lefebvre, Johnson stole third base. The Cubs' catcher Krug threw the ball over Santo's head and into left field, which allowed Johnson to score. The Dodgers had scored a run without an official at-bat

This is what MLB claims is the only time a team scored a run in a inning without a official at bat in the inning

In 1915, the Washington Senators scored a run without an official at-bat in the inning. It was the only time in baseball history it’s happened.

Chick Gandil and Merito Acosta walked. A sacrifice bunt moved them over to second and third. George McBride’s sac fly scored Gandil, and Acosta was picked off second.
