for what it's worth...white sox will do well...best starting rotation in baseball...2nd best bullpen behind the angels...the addition of thome is not going to hurt...big question is can thome stay healthy...is he getting to a point in his career that he can't overcome the injuries.

Thome will be the full-time DH so that will take care of a lot of the wear and tear. Also he is from Peoria, Ill (not far from Chicago), so he will be coming home. Really wanted to sign with the Cubs a couple of years ago but Cubs lowballed him. He is coming to White Sox camp in the best shape in years.
