I saw the entire hearing.
It was sickening.
Chairman Nadler was a complete prick, bullied Whitaker in many ways, distinctly outside the way the proceedings usually are aplied.
The Dems:
Bullied him relentlessly
Challenged the credibility of his office
Cut him off all the time, sometimes after he said 3-4 words
Yelled at him
Condescending
Harassed him
Challenged his past positions, smeared him
Waved fingers and papers at him
Insulted him directly
The whole time they tried to trick him (over and over and over) into commenting on Mueller, on whether he has spoken to Trump about the Mueller investigation, and why he did not recuse himself on the Special Counsel investigation.
The letter that invited him listed the opioid epidemic, immigration, gun violence, all of that... but all they did was hammer Whitaker on Mueller and Whitaker's process to recuse himself.
I have seen a lot of these... this was far and away, distinctly, the most brutal, and the key was the way Nadler allowed the Dems to abuse Whitaker verbally. And he only has 3 more working days on the job...
The GOP did almost nothing, one guy called point of order the way Nadler allowed the questioning, he was voted against a few times. One old blonde gal said the whole thing was an embarrassment. The rest were pussies.
This does not bode well for the future...
