South Carolina -11 (-120) vs. N.C. State

Although some handicappers have some issues with laying the double digit spreads I will lay pretty much anything if I think it has an over 50% chance to win. The situation in this game is one of my favorite college football situations to bet right here. What we have here is an underrated South Carolina football team that plays really well at home and obviously, the crowed should be pretty hyped for the return of some college football, going up against a lower tier ACC team. NC State doesn’t play well out of conference and going against the toughest conference in the country I am not expecting much.

Last years South Carolina team was a good team in my opinion that just had some rough spots over the season. They opened up with 3 wins, one win @ Georgia! They work their record to 6-1 going into the homestretch. They end up looking ahead to 4 games @ Tennessee, @ Arkansas, vs. Florida, & vs. Clemson and Vanderbilt sneaks up on them leaving them reeling with a tough loss to Tennessee in OT, a hard fought loss in Arkansas, and then get pounded on by Florida, and Clemson squeaks by them in the finale. I think South Carolina makes a statement this year and this game is the start of it. I don’t really think this game is ever going to be close and South Carolina starts the year with a BIG win.

Welcome back bro! I haven't been around here in a while and its good to see that avatar. I like the USC bet here and don't really see the Gamecocks having much trouble with this ACC team.

South Carolina showed signs of having a really great team, but the only thing that got them that most of their close games came on the road and this time had trouble closing on the road.

Question: Who will be playing quarterback for the Gamecocks? Will they have anything similar to a two QB system? I really don't have much of a clue what is going on in Gamecock land. Blake Mitchell didn't put up too bad of numbers last year for the Gamecocks.

its time to chalk this one as a lesson learned. making bets with individuals you don't know is highly not recommended.

Tommy Beecher (4th year at USC) is the starter and no one is taking it away from him. He has been far and away the best QB in the 4 summer practices and you can tell that after Spurrier named him the QB in the spring that his confidence level shot up. Spurrier has said, Beecher would of gotten a chance last year but he didn't have enough confidence in himself. This year is different, he has a little bit of a swagger and he is a hard worker and a leader.

Smelley is going to be 3rd string by the time the 1st game comes imo. Garcia is gaining on him everyday. Smelley has looked the least impressive this summer and I could not see him winning the starting QB job. Actually bearing an injury to Beecher, he is without a doubt 1000% the starter vs. NC St and Spurrier hopes the whole year.

The thing about the QB in this offense, he doesn't have to be John Elway, he has to "manage the game" and not make mistakes. SC has some talent in the skill positions (TE's/ WRs/RB) and provided they get improved OL play, which they should, Spurrier will call the right plays to move the offense. With improved special teams and a good defense, they may get some short fields to work with against State who I have scoring a MAX of 13 points in this game.

My only way to pay him without meeting him in person is on Full Tilt Poker. My only way to deposit onto Full Tilt Poker is to get it transfered to me for cash. The only way to get it transfered is to have a friend put it on. I had it but then my FTP account got banned. I'm only 18. I have no bank account, no way to transfer funds electronically. When I get money on Full Tilt I will give it to him. I can't lie though I did have it twice and lost it while trying to win some which is obviously dumb.

However, it is fine you all to call me a scumbag and shit and for Prodigy to follow my posts because I would too if I was in your position. I have never....ever stiffed anybody. But when I get large sums of cash and have other things to pay for I apologize for Prodigy not popping into my head before all else.
