I did not look at other forums because my web geeks messed with my computer and disabled my browser from visiting them, lol...

Didn't even realize forum was down. It's been so boring here lately that I haven't bothered much. I don't know if this is related to the "sale" of the forum and some change to the enthusiam level or just that the beginning of football season had more exciting posts.

We need a good scandal. Hey, "scammers", make a weird bet at a book and come here to complain when you don't get paid.

Seriously, many of those threads make great recommendations for policy changes and clearer rules.

Also, it would be nice to have some timely info about books in trouble. (not the rumor mill, where a few insiders know and can pull out before they post the name of the book). There was a thread earlier this month about some "mid sized book in costa rica going under in 9 days". No book was mentioned before I finally gave up on the thread, though some posters may know the book. Wild Bill wrote a piece against spreading rumors. However, there are still 3 days left in the 9 days. Shouldn't there be some follow up to either identify the book or put the rumor to rest? If a book does go under this week, the forum is going to look pretty silly for dropping the ball.

Anyway, we need someone on RX as interesting as JJGold, but not as _______ (pick your own adjective).

I also spent every minute at Peeps site. I enjoy the RX bashing they do and find it both enjoyable and truthful. I know whose wheat and I know who's chaff and the wheat is all over at Peeps.
