I have identified a few teams that I can't see them covering a game regardless of spread right now. Like to know others thoughts and feel free to add to my list.

SMU- see my thread for Wk 6
Eastern Michigan- plays Akron who beat Pitt getting 3 tads. Not enough?
Kansas- fired Weis Sunday and now into Big 12 play.

Michigan should be noted. Lines are always too high as they are always over rated.

SMU is lol bad. But fuck, this ECU line is weird. 98percent of public is on ECU. That makes me scratch my head a bit.

your perspective is terrible teams... i'd add UNLV. back to old tricks. maybe tulane too. one year for each team out of ATS hell and now straight back in.... maybe UConn. and some pretty bad (but traditionally fairly good) MAC teams.

kansas is somewhat risky with new coach. often those teams do well (obv not in SMU's case).....

but i'd also look at good teams (or recently good) that have been poor ATS-wise: florida state, north carolina, utah state.

looked some at conferences........... conference USA (yawn) has been very good ATS (although now it's mostly conference games anyway so it's good ATS vs. good ATS)

one team to watch potentially turning the corner is southern mississippi. should have good talent so turn could be powerful.

BTW, had no idea akron beat pittsburgh..... nice 32 point cover..... i like the akron story in general but it hasn't been the ATS angle i thought it would be since bowden took over.

this is just his 3rd year in charge and he's 5-2 SU L7 with E Mich and Miami OH on deck. hell of a turn around if he's able to post 7-2 L9 considering they were 2-22 in 2010 and 2011

ok, i thought it was his 2nd season.... i agree he's done a great job, but he's 50% ATS since taking over. i guess too many bettors think alike.

SMU for sure. Just keep in mind that by the 8th week the linesmakers will be posting 40 to 50+ spreads on this team. It's just a matter of how much you want to bite off with the favorites. Some coaches could care less if they cover that big of a spread just as long as he doesn't get any of his starters hurt. If they even start their starters. Kansas has one of the worst offenses in the country, but an underrated defense. The question with them will be if they quit like June Jones team did, or play harder after Weis leaves like Lane Kiffin's USC team did last year.

My goodness Akron, where was this effort the week before against Marshall when I was holding an Akron ticket? These MAC teams can be like a box of chocolates

Connecticut.......0-5 vs. number so far. Barely beat Stony Brook at home week 2. UConn offensively might be one of the worst 5 in division 1 football. Circle your calendar for the game of the year on December 6th......SMU at UConn.

Best thread this week. Concur with every team pointed out. The boys from Greenville will not let off the gas, I'm personally gonna lay the most wood in my life and take ECU -41. Damn, I hate posting plays, been winning since I stopped. GLMen

In 1-AA/FCS, Savannah State is a go against. I have been blindly betting their opponent every week for the last few years & have lost under 5 times ever. They are that bad & have zero business fielding a team.
