Which NBA team do you think got the better of the trade which sent Rasheed Wallace and Wesley Person to the Atanta Hawks for Shareef Abdur-Rahim and two minor players?

Portland

Rasheed was a distraction and a poor influence on that team. Rahim is a hard player and a class act.

Wallace and his attitude are not worth having....He is the poster boy for all that is wrong with the NBA...look at the Blazers a team that once personafied class with players like Terry Porter, Drexler, Buck Williams, further back with Walton and Dr. Jack....

...they had become the thugs of the league with Wallace, Rider, and the rest of the potheads....Wallace will never change, he`` always be a Technical foul waiting to happen..

Theo Ratliff is a minor player? He leads the NBA in blocks!

As far as the talent is concerned, it's an equal trade. But, if looking at which club will benefit the most, Portland hands down (for the reasons stated above).

Portland Got the better deal.Wallace is so overrated and a bad influence on the rest of the team. All he wanted to do is shoot 3's. There are alot of players you can get to do that in this league for less then $17 million a year.He won't get half that next contract. Don't let the door hit you in the ASS on the way out.

Rasheed is a PREMIER play er if he WANTS to b, how many doays of 82 does he give a shit. Definitely, Portland, could have given up swiss cheese for senora Prima Donna and come out ahead,.

Portland finally doin some much needed house cleaning and add a classy and talented guy in abdur-rahim. Gotta say its a big "plus" for Trialblazers on and off the court.

On the surface this looks like a great move by Portland to rid the franchise of another bad apple. But in the long run this deal works out perfectly for the Hawks. They get dump Person and Wallace at the end of the season and free up enough salary cap room to fill the pockets of Kobe Bryant or any other premier free agent.

Blazers coach Mo Cheeks, one of the classiest guys in the NBA can only hope that since Randy Ayers got the axe in Philly he has a shot at returning home where he would be a fan favorite. At least he doesn't have to look at Wallace's mug for the next two months.

Just because you have cap room doesn't mean players are going to go there. Kobe is not going to Atlanta. There is nothing there for him

I can`t see Kobe going to ATL....But then again he could launch 40 shots a game their....unlikely...

Philly would be nice for Kobe...or Orlando

No brainer. Atlanta got the better end of it by far. Portland acquiring overweighted contracts that don't expire at years end and Atlanta got rid of the mediocrity and at least have a chance to go after better players. They may or may not be able to but now they at least have a chance to do so.

As good as Lakers, after Shaq, Malone is washed up

Randolph is alot better than Malone

Rahim is a very good player

Portland should kick butt on the Glass

knowing what both teams wanted to accomplish - this was a great trade for both

portland gets rid of some headaches while the hawks get a ton of salary cap room.

Don't forget that Atlanta also gets to dump Terrell Brandon's contract this summer.

They'll probably have more cap-room than any team in NBA history...but will they be able to do anything with it?
