Mad Capper and General:
FYI, 250K is really not a big amount for a book like 5 dimes. 5 dimes' owner is razor sharp. He's got a great reputation; he pays when he loses, unfailingly. But what makes 5 Dimes one of the best books out there is the amount of props and lines on events nobody else deals. Give'em a try, you won't regret it.
As for Sting, I thought you guys would have figured out already where all his info is coming from. Most of Sting's sources are book employees, ex-employees and people who really do not have acces to prime time info. If you guys think about it for 1 second, Sting is in DIRE need of information, in order to keep his agonizing site going. Rumors and gossip have proved to work for others in other fields and industries, so I guess he thought he might as well try it.
Sting took a cheap B.S. shot at Rick @ Allworld, the he just apologized for not having confirmed the veracity of his "source". What kind of journalist goes public with unfounded info? You guys figure that one out.
Retaking the main subject,5 Dimes is a solid, respected and reputable shop. It is true this CR piece of shit ex-employee stole $$$ from them, but believe me when I tell you the amount, although significant, was not crucial; niether will it affect their ability to pay.
