The final performances on "Dancing With the Stars" and the premiere of a new "Bachelorette" gave ABC an overall ratings win Monday, while CBS' comedy finales scored the demographic prize.

ABC scored 12.5 million viewers and an 8.3 rating/13 share in households for the night, holding off CBS (11.9 million, 7.3/12) for the top spot. FOX (8.85 million, 5.2/8) finished third. NBC's 5.9 million viewers and 3.7/6 were good for fourth. The CW, which had a night of reruns, managed only 734,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.

lost certainly was the winner, but in all fairness, Law and Order went against much better competiton, not to mention, it wasnt really billed as a "series" finale, as they are still trying to find a way to bring it back for another year, and if they cant, have already said, there will be a 2 hour movie next season, to wrap it up properly......last night's episode, which was VERY GOOD, was in NO WAY a series wrap, it was just a season wrap up....we got no insight as to where everyone would go, and how they would depart...it was simply the end of the current season
