If it is not the USA, you should be deported and even if you are from the pot smoking Netherlands or the drug smuggling Mexico, you still root for USA. It is the only country that matters. Belgium is my 20/1 shot to win the World Cup but I'd be happy losing it if the USA went all the way. Unfortunately the ride probably ends for the good guys here but I'll be cheering them on.

Don't want to turn political, but yes that is correct. I am sure he was rooting for Cameroon. And as far as freedom, if I just said what I said in North Korea, Turkmenistan, or Uzbeckistan, I would be dead.

Everybody wants the U.S.A first along with whoever they got action on......That said, I can NEVER bet against the U.S.A (I draw the line here as I'll even go against alma mater or favorite teams or hometown before)
.Even when I had a Futures on Spain in 2010 World Cup posted here which was before the tournament I was like if they meet the U.S.A by accident in the Knockout Round then I'll just turn the game off and not even watch it.

Considering the United States plays a World Cup every 4 years this is not really a big sacrifice to make in my opinion for Americans.
