Same as the teams that selected bums Vince Young and Matt Leinart, I laughed my ass off when Tennessee selected VY when Cutler was in their own backyard starting at Vandy for his final 3 years.(I don't recall if he started as a freshman but I know he was the guy his final 3 seasons.)
Let us be fair to the team and coaches that "picked" Vince Young. They are owned by a Houstonian who fell in love with the texas QB and also has a serious hatred for the city of Houston and wanted to rub their noses in the stench of defeat courtesy of their own home town kid.
Jeff Fisher did not want Vince Young. He will deny this until he goes to the grave, but if you want proof of this, talk to Mike Shanahan, or read his interviews of the selection of jay cutler. He said it himself that he completely trusted Jeff Fisher at his word and took cutler on that alone..

Truth of the matter is Fisher wanted Cutler, he knew he had the right guy in him but he couldnt pick him because of the idiot owner! So he told his good buddy Shanahan to do whatever he could to get him!

I dont know how good Mark Sanchez will be..(probably not as good as most claim) But i know this for a fact, Mathew Stafford IS NOT A TOP 20 DRAFT PICK! and i wouldnt pick either one of them in the first round!

You make so much sense that it is impossible for them to do that..(slim chance that Jim Shwartz former titans coach has 100% say in what happens in the draft but if he did he would probably go your route.
