You're right about some things regarding Love Pats but he's played more games than Derrick Rose the past 3 seasons, and how do you discount being one of, if not the league's best rebounder AND putting 25 ppg?
Have we ever seen the league's top rebounder also be able to step behind the arc and drain 3's like this guy?
And I guess this goes back to everything you said about it and it's a shame because he could have, and still can be possibly, something special.

But anyhow, my choice of the 4 players listed would be Harden.
6 months ago no way I would have ever thought it but the guy is for real.
6th in the league in steals also proves that he has the all-round game to go with 26-6-5

Pekovic re-signing 4/50

You think wolves go playoffs next year Hache?

If they could get healthy and stay that way reasonably then i think they can slip in.
I honestly havent checked on Rubio. Whats his status?
I get that youre not big on Kevin Love but gosh how many more wins are just the duo of he and Rubio worth...

They've spent a lot of money this summer...

Added Kevin Martin, Corey Brewer

Rubio is fine health wise, played big mins 2nd half last year (still an abysmal shooter though)

Pekovic/Love should be solid but if they do stay healthy for most of the year and don't go playoffs that is a big indictment on Love. In your 6th year you gotta take a team playoffs. Not like he is playing with the Bobcats or anything. I don't dislike him, just think sometimes people overrate raw #s and underrate D/winning/other metrics...A Davis and Drummond could underachieve since you never know what is inside of a guy motivation wise when he is like 20 but their potential on D is huge.

All the top defensive teams in the league have an interior defender that can change the game and it is as valuable as ever.

Rose is not a guy to build a team around. The notion that just because he was mvp, that he was a top 3 player is pretty laughable. The bulls are better with him, but not THAT much better. Nash was also mvp but no way was he ever a top 3 player imho

Think I'd go Harden... But it's a tough choice. Don't particularly feel like any of them are the types to build teams around. Rose certainly was at one point, but hard to put him there until we see him post-injury.

Who do you think is then if those 4 aren't? (I think Griffin/Love are more 2nd banana types but I do think Harden/Rose are #1 options on good teams)

love is overrated like patsfan said. harden/rose are the obvious answer.

and patsfan, love did get a lot of blow back from white minnesotans. i reside in the state and follow the wolves closely. i personally think love is upset he didnt get a max deal, which is why he signed the shorter deal, thinking that rubio would be the max guy.

I really dislike both of those guys as well... Durant would be my guy, then Irving probably.

You aren't gonna sue me for stealing your race angle are you?

Yeah I'm not trying to kill love but I can't imagine someone like Melo or Dwight saying "I'm a proponent of surrounding greatness with greatness" when they've never been out of rd 1. Would get killed and laughed at for it (probably go down in infamy as a "I'm taking my talents to south beach" or "you play to win the game!" type quote)

There is the quote, pretty funny....I mean I don't even have a problem with him saying it but he said it 6 months after signing an extension. If you didn't like Minnesota's makeup, you shouldn't have re-signed and just become a FA.

A healthy rosé is the obvious choice. Interested to see how he comes back.....harden/love are a close second.
