I kinda want to keep Graves cause he's listed as a SP so I can play him and two other closers

Nen is a little dicey coming back from multiple surgeries. But they "say" he's progressing if you can afford to be patient. Jose Mesa is a disaster waiting to happen, but the Pirates don't have a lot of options. You might hope to get lucky. McDougal's banged up a bit but might take over for Leskanic before long, but if Leskanic pitches like he did last year, McDougal might be a set up guy or a part of a committee. Percival is a no-brain keeper. I'd probably take my chances and keep Nen, Percival and Graves and then keep Mesa, but try to trade him asap if he gets a few saves!!

Thanks, I do need a midinfielder but I don't know what Mesa is going to get me..Do you think a change of scenery for Aurilla is going to make much difference. At one point he seemed like he was going to be a solid pick year in and out but he's been a disappointment last couple of years...

Aurilia is switching leagues and Safeco is no hitter's park. Some lower profile guys you might target include Alex Cintron, Mike Young (will play SS this year), Julio Lugo, Royce Clayton (Coors Field). If you are in a keeper league, try to get Rickie Weeks, 2B for the Brewers.

If he has put up disappointing numbers with Bonds in the lineup, why would you want him in another pitchers park with Olerud batting 3rd?

King of the Road has some nice options for infielders. If you are in a keeper league, go with Rickie Weeks.

I think Nen ,McDougal are both hurt to start the season. Graves is bad and may not last as their closer.

What are some of the better free agent pitchers that are available? If it is head-to-head, I would drop Lieber (probably a lost season) and try to get another starter. You want to get as many starts per week as possible and your injured pitchers will really handcuff you).

Its not head to head. You get 162 starts at each fielding position and so many innings for both starting and relief pitching. Thanks

John Thomson, Wilson Alvarez, Horacio Ramirez and possibly Cory Lidle could be very strong at times this year.
